The organizer of the National Sorochinsky Fair - LLC "Sorochinsky Fair" informs potential participants and guests that we have decided not to hold this year's Sorochinsky Fair in the village of Velyki Sorochintsy, Myrhorod district, Poltava region!
Despite the fact that the epidemic situation in Ukraine with the incidence of covid-19 is stabilized, quarantine restrictions are lifted, the largest wholesale markets operate, and large-scale exhibitions in Ukraine and events in Poltava region are allowed in August, the policy of double standards for the National Sorochyn Fair continues. therefore, we cannot endanger the people who love and come to the fair, the people we also love and respect.
In addition, we will not allow certain destructive forces that have started collecting signatures against the fair and plan to repeat the events of the "Novosanzhar syndrome" in the village of Velyki Sorochyntsi to damage the image of the event, which has a long history and our society has been preparing and conducting since 1999. We cannot allow any manifestations of contempt for our participants and guests who have supported us for two decades, visited the fair, participated in it - thus uniting Ukraine around its history, culture and traditions, and for many of them the fair gave the opportunity feed their families.
We love and are very grateful, but we can't do otherwise!

Day Six, the last – Goodbye until next year

Today is Thanksgiving Day of the Fair.

The organizer of the National Sorochynsky Fair – Sorochynsky Fair LLC thanks the participants of this year's event, the hundreds of thousands of guests who visited it, and many journalists of electronic and print media who shared their positive and vivid impressions of the fair with spectators and readers.

We thank everyone who helped us prepare and hold the Fair.

Day Five – Independence Day of Ukraine

Happy Birthday, Ukraine! Beautiful, independent, free and, in the dreams of all, prosperous! We love you and sincerely wish you and us peace, prosperity and happiness! The National Sorochynsky Fair, together with all Ukraine, celebrates Independence Day. At the festive table there is a lot of sunshine, smiles, good mood, lots of goods and entertainments.

Day Three – Sorochynsky Fair – The Centre for People’s Diplomacy.

The peculiarity of the Sorochynsky fair is that it is interesting and attractive not only for Ukrainians, but also for foreign guests - both official delegations and individuals. Yesterday the guests from Belarus, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Canada, Poland and the USA walked around the fair. There may have been others, but not all of them reported their presence.

Day Two - the fair is picking up the pace.

We sincerely thank the mass media for spreading this joyful news yesterday that the National Sorochynsky Fair opened in the village of Velyki Sorochyntsi in Poltava region!

That is why, already from the early morning, almost after Gogol, streams of people are coming together from everywhere to the fair. And, interestingly, not only those who want to shop or take a walk, but also those who at the last moment decided to bargain.

Day One – Opening of the Fair.

Today is finally the event that Ukraine has been waiting for the whole year – the National Sorochynsky Fair - 2019 started its work!

The opening ceremony of the event took place at 11:00 on the stage of Hivria’s ethnographic homestead. The fair was opened by Gogol's characters, “Mykola Gogol” himself and the team of organizers – Sorochynsky Fair LLC.
